Listen to my Interview about STEs on a UK Podcast
Bonus: Short Reflection on One of Jesus' Psychic Abilities
Family medical issues continue, but they are finally, slowly resolving. My hope is to be back to regular Substack posts in the next month or so. In the meantime, I enjoyed a lovely interview about Spiritually Transformative Experiences with Ange de Lumiere on her podcast “True Spirituality with Ange.” She is based out of the UK and you can listen to the interview HERE.

A Short Bonus Reflection
Every time I read the Bible, I find new insights which I never noticed before. Saturday I looked more closely at the passage:
“When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Child, your sins are forgiven.” Now some of the scribes were sitting there questioning in their hearts, “Why does this fellow speak in this way? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” At once Jesus perceived in his spirit that they were discussing these questions among themselves, and he said to them, “Why do you raise such questions in your hearts?” - Mark 2:5-8
“Jesus perceived in his spirit.” In other words, Jesus wasn’t listening with his ears, and no one told him what the scribes were saying. This information did not come through normal physical channels. Instead, Jesus could spiritually sense what was in the scribes’ hearts and what specific questions they were discussing. What the passage describes is a sixth sense, what many would call a psychic ability.
Here the Bible reveals yet another type of Spiritually Transformative Experience, a gift which some folks even today share with Jesus.

Really enjoyed the interview. Carletta
The podcast episode was a great conversation. Your quote (regarding mystical experiences), "I think we have these experiences in order to live better in this life as opposed to trying to escape this life," really struck me--I had never looked at it that way.
I was happy you mentioned Bruce Greyson's "After," it's an amazing book that deserves a wide audience.
I'm so glad you'll be able to write more soon. I have missed your posts.
