My first full-time position as a Rector took me to northern VT where I met a dowser, tried it myself, and know it works. Excellent and persuasive analogy. Why would we not “intentionally” seek to live as a evermore attuned, humble conduit of that which fills the realm of the transcendent while moving through the realm of the material? Ah, to be at home and in good company wherever you are in the universe!
Exactly. It seems so obvious, but that's not what we are taught in this post-enlightenment society. As above, so below. Even Christianity has now missed the connection... I especially love your last line!
